Nichole Weight
Mrs. Weight is the owner and lead teacher of Leading Edge. She is a state certified elementary educator and holds a Bachelor’s in Education and a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus in play-based learning. Mrs. Weight strives to teach students to love learning and be lifelong learners. She loves it when past students visit her and reminisce about their favorite lessons and activities.
Mrs. Weight is happily married to Clifton, a high school teacher in Ammon. Together they have four busy teenagers and a caboose that likes to think she is a teenager alongside the others. All five children are Leading Edge Preschool graduates!
Her family loves to travel, camp, watch movies, ride bikes, hike, and get SnoCones every day of summer break.
Mrs. Weight can always be found with a Cherry Coke in hand, hurrying to all her children’s sporting and other events.

Brooke Guthrie
Mrs. Guthrie brings several years of experience in education to her role as an assistant preschool teacher at Leading Edge. With a diverse background that includes elementary education and work with children with special needs, she is deeply committed to fostering growth and development in every child. While her time in the special needs department holds a special place in her heart, Mrs. Guthrie’s passion for education extends to all students she encounters. She thrives on discovering creative and engaging teaching methods that inspire a love for learning in each child she teaches.
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Guthrie treasures spending time with her wonderful family. She is married to her best friend and is the proud mother of four amazing children and Nana to two adorable grandbabies. Family is central to Mrs. Guthrie’s life, and she cherishes every moment they spend together.
In her free time, Mrs. Guthrie enjoys immersing herself in the great outdoors, finding solace and inspiration in nature’s beauty. Whether she’s conquering hiking trails, casting a line while fishing, or embracing the challenge of CrossFit, she thrives on the exhilaration of adventure. Despite her adventurous spirit, many are shocked to learn that Mrs. Guthrie has skydived and finds it to be one of the most freeing experiences of her life. When she’s not outdoors with her family, Mrs. Guthrie enjoys learning to make new foods from scratch.

Sherrie Stapleton
Mrs. Stapleton grew up in Rigby. Her husband Stephen and children Kace, Seth, and Lillian are her greatest joy and she loves spending time with them. Things Mrs. Stapleton enjoys are swimming, watching her kids play baseball, boating, traveling, and reading. She is so excited to teach preschool and loves early childhood education. She can’t wait to get to know each of your wonderful children.
Fun fact: Mrs. Stapleton AND her children are all Leading Edge Preschool graduates!
